The Story
“This sandwich is really made or lost by the quality of your turkey. If you've cooked a whole turkey, slicing it fresh right off the bird is the best move. Otherwise, get the best deli turkey you can find. Toast the bread well — sourdough or a good white bread — so it holds up to the mayo and tomato without getting soggy. Stack it tall, cut diagonally, use toothpicks to hold it together. Nothing complicated, just quality ingredients done right.”
