Sheet Pan Salmon with Broccoli
Salmon and broccoli on one sheet pan, finished with a sesame-soy-ginger-honey sauce. Healthy, easy, and genuinely delicious.
EasyPrep: 10 minCook: 15 minServes 4Oven
Ingredients
- ●4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- ●1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
- ●2 green onions, sliced
- ●Olive oil, for drizzling
- ●Salt and pepper, to taste
- ●3 Tbsp sesame oil
- ●2 Tbsp soy sauce
- ●1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- ●1 heaping Tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- ●4-5 garlic cloves, pressed
- ●1 Tbsp honey
Assembly
- 1.Preheat oven to 375°F (convection humid if you have a steam oven).
- 2.In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, grated ginger, pressed garlic, and honey. Set aside.
- 3.Cut the broccoli into florets and slice the green onions. Spread across a baking sheet. Spray or drizzle with olive oil, then drizzle with some sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- 4.Bake the broccoli for 7 minutes.
- 5.Remove the tray and add the salmon fillets on top. Drizzle the sauce over everything.
- 6.Return to the oven and bake for another 6 minutes (use a thermometer if you have one — pull at 120-125°F internal for medium, since it will keep cooking after it comes out).
- 7.Serve immediately, spooning any pan sauce over the top.

The Story
“This is one of those recipes that's actually healthy and actually tastes great — not always an easy combination. Everything goes on one sheet pan, the sauce does the heavy lifting, and it's a completely different way to eat salmon than pan-seared. If you have a steam oven, it works really well; if not, a regular oven is fine.”
