The Story

This is something I grew up eating at a local spot and it's been in my rotation ever since. Half shaved beef and half ground chicken, cooked together with seasoned onions and sweet peppers. The sweet peppers add something the regular cheesesteak doesn't have, and the chicken lightens it up a bit while still having the beef flavor. Same rules apply — good bread matters more than anything else. Provolone is still my go-to cheese.
